Projects Seek Volunteers
For your convenience, projects are divided into two categories, those that are directly involved with some aspect of the University of Minnesota and those that involve aspects of the surrounding Twin Cities community. Please examine these pages to access directories with brief descriptions of current projects in these two categories. Check back periodically as new projects may be added at any time.
"For five years I've been a volunteer mentor in the URVC Partners In English (PIE) program. Through PIE, I've met with more than a dozen graduate students looking for the opportunity to improve their English language skills in one-to-one meetings with a native English language speaker. Sometimes we practice pronunciation, reading, and writing, but usually we just converse about our lives, our countries, and our interests.
